Brand your notification emails

Your invites and notifications in your voice: per-workspace overrides, brand kit variables filled automatically, and saved variants you can switch in one click.

The emails HoldFast sends on your behalf (invites, password resets, comment notifications) can speak in your voice instead of ours.

How overrides work

Find Email Templates in Settings. Every email type has a default; you can override the subject, the body, or both, for your workspace only. Clear the override and the default returns. The customizable set covers auth emails (password reset, invitation, welcome), workspace emails (team invite), and review emails (comment and approval notifications).

Brand kit variables

Your brand kit is available inside any template, filled automatically at send time:

• {{workspace_name}}: your workspace name
• {{workspace_logo_url}}: your logo
• {{workspace_logo_mark_url}}: your logo mark
• {{brand_primary_color}} and {{brand_accent_color}}: your colors

Write the template once and it stays on-brand even when the kit changes later.

Saved variants

The template editor keeps multiple saved versions ("Holiday version", "Short copy") that you switch between in one click. Season a template without losing the original, and switch back in the same click.

Templates control what the email says. To control the address it comes from, set up your own email domain.
