Review link settings reference
Every toggle in one place, one line each, with the full guide one click away. The page you keep open while configuring a link.
Every switch a review link has, one line each. Every line links to the page that covers it properly. Settings apply live, so changing any of them never means a new URL.
Access control
- Active: the master switch. Off turns the link off everywhere, and back on restores the same URL.
- Password protected: one password guards everything behind the link: page, media, comments, and downloads, not only the front door.
- Require email to view: each visitor enters an email before the page opens; views are attributed to that person and the address flows into your Contacts.
- Expiration date: pick a date and time or use the presets (24 hours, 7 days, 30 days). After it passes, the whole link returns a friendly expired page.
Permissions
- Allow comments: reviewers can leave timecoded notes, draw on frames, and attach files; off makes the link watch-only.
- Allow downloads: reviewers can download individual files or everything as a zip, with a quality picker per file (original, 1080p, 720p, 480p) and estimated sizes shown.
Versions
- Show versions: the audience gate for the version rail. With it on, reviewers can browse the cuts you marked visible and compare two side by side.
Branding
- Brand kit / overrides: logo, colors, and watermark text on the page, covered in Brand a review link. The default comes from your workspace brand kit.
If you are configuring your first link, start from How to send a video for review instead; this page is the reference you come back to.
Questions
Which settings can I change after sending the link?
All of them. Settings apply live to the existing URL, so you can add a password, extend an expiry, or enable downloads without re-sending anything.
