Review a cut on the asset page
One page holds the whole internal review: frame-accurate player on the left, and everything about the asset in four tabs on the right.
Click any asset and you land on its review page: the player on the left, a tabbed pad on the right, and everything you need to judge a cut without leaving the page.
Player left, everything else right: Transcript, Tags, Versions, and Info in one pad.
The player
Frame-accurate and keyboard-first: Space to play, arrow keys to step single frames, J and L to jump, a timecode display that cycles formats when clicked. The full list lives in Player shortcuts. Above the player you will also find Set In / Set Out for non-destructive trims and Set Thumbnail for the poster frame.
The right pad, tab by tab
- Transcript: transcribe the clip in your browser, click any line to jump the player there, select text to comment at that timecode.
- Tags: add and remove tags with autocomplete, assign categories.
- Versions: the Version History. Add a version, preview an older one safely, roll back with Make active, or mark one Visible to reviewers.
- Info: the technical read: duration, dimensions, and the file facts you reach for when a deliverable spec is in question.
Two header controls worth knowing
Click the asset name to rename it inline. And the Public Link toggle publishes this one asset as a simple single-clip page with a shareable URL, the fast path when a full reel is more than the moment needs.
This page is your team's side. What clients see when you share is a review link, and it has its own guide.
Questions
How do I rename an asset?
Click the asset name in the header and edit it inline. Note that versions have their own labels, taken from their filenames.
What is the Public Link toggle in the header?
A one-clip share. Turn it on and the asset publishes as a simple single-video page at a shareable URL, without building a full reel. Toggle it off to disable the link; re-enabling reuses the same URL.
