Premiere Pro plugin

Pull client comments into Premiere as timecode-accurate markers, and push your markers back as comments.

The plugin closes the loop between HoldFast and your timeline. Client notes come into Premiere as markers sitting on the exact frames they refer to, and your own sequence markers go back out as comments on the review link. No scrubbing a browser in one window and your timeline in another.

Install

Download the .pkg installer from Settings → Integrations, double-click to install, and restart Premiere Pro. The panel then lives under Window → Extensions → HoldFast.

Connect

Open the panel, go to its Settings tab, and enter your server URL and an API token, then click Test Connection. A Plugin-scoped token (free tier) covers everything the plugin does, including uploads. You can mint one from Settings → API Tokens.

Pull comments in as markers

1. Open the sequence you want notes on.
2. Park the playhead at the first frame of picture. This is the step that matters: it tells the plugin where picture starts, so comments land on the right frames. If your export had leader or black before picture, the plugin detects the offset and adjusts.
3. On the Sync tab, pick the review link and asset, then click Pull Comments.

Timecoded comments drop in as markers at the correct timecodes. Pulling clears the existing markers first, so a re-pull always matches the current state of the review.

Push markers back as comments

Add markers to your sequence as you work, pick the same review link and asset on the Sync tab, and click Push Markers. Each one posts back as a comment on the review link, so a note you make in the edit shows up for the client without retyping.

Upload straight from Premiere

On the Upload tab, select sequences or clips, choose a destination HoldFast project and folder, and click Upload. Premiere hands the export to Media Encoder, and the finished file lands in HoldFast, ready to watch in seconds and ready to share.
