Create a second workspace

The policy in one line: one free workspace per account, and any number of paid ones, each fully separate with its own plan, team, and branding.

For admins

Updated

A second workspace is a hard wall, not a folder: its own projects, team, contacts, brand kits, plan, and billing. Studios reach for one when a division, a joint venture, or a white-label client relationship needs its own world.

The policy

Each account includes one free workspace. Creating another requires a paid plan: the flow runs through checkout, your existing card carries over (nothing to re-enter), and the workspace is created once payment succeeds, never before. There is no way to accumulate free workspaces, by design.

Create one

From the workspace menu, choose to create a new workspace, name it, and pick its plan. After checkout you land in the new workspace as its admin, ready to invite its team and set up its brand kit.

When a second workspace is the right call

  • A second brand or division whose clients should never see the first one's name.
  • A white-label arrangement where the workspace itself belongs to the relationship.
  • A hard separation of billing between entities.

When the goal is only organization, projects and folders inside one workspace carry a surprising amount of weight, and roles handle most access questions without a second bill.

Questions

Why does a second workspace require a paid plan?

Each account includes one free workspace. The free tier exists so a team can genuinely evaluate HoldFast, not to stack unlimited free silos; additional workspaces are paid from the start.

Do workspaces share anything?

No. Each workspace has its own projects, team, contacts, branding, plan, and billing. People and data never cross between them unless you move something yourself.
