See what's using your storage

A treemap that answers "where did the space go" at a glance, and a top-ten table that makes the cleanup pass surgical.

Updated

Storage fills the way garages do: gradually, then all at once, and never where you think. The breakdown shows you exactly where before you delete anything.

Open it

Go to the Billing page and click View Breakdown next to the storage progress bar. The bar itself shows total used against your plan's quota.

Read the treemap

Projects appear as proportional colored blocks: bigger block, more storage. Hover for the project's name, size, and asset count. Click a block to drill into that project, where individual assets are colored by type (video blue, image green, audio purple, documents gray). The breadcrumb's All Projects climbs back out.

Below the map, the top items table lists the ten largest things you own, which is usually where the cleanup pass should start: three forgotten masters routinely outweigh three hundred cuts.

What counts

Only your original uploads. The streaming copies and thumbnails HoldFast keeps for playback are free. So the number you manage is the number you uploaded, and deleting an asset (or an old version) frees exactly what it weighed.

If the map says the space is all earning its keep, add a storage block instead of deleting working files.

Questions

What counts toward my storage quota?
