How to share a presentation online
Turn a PDF, PowerPoint, or web deck into one branded, full-bleed link, and see which slides they actually read.
Updated
A deck is only as good as whether it gets read, and email attachments tell you nothing. HoldFast turns a PDF, a PowerPoint, or a web export into one branded, full-bleed link that renders edge to edge on any device and reports back, slide by slide, how far your reader got. Here's the path from file to tracked link.
1. Create a presentation
From the Presentations tab, click + New and give it a title. The public slug (/d/your-slug) is generated from the title. You can edit it (lowercase letters, numbers, hyphens).
Upload a file or embed a live link; the slug comes from the title.
2. Add your content
Two ways in, both in the deck's Settings:
- Upload a file: a PDF (crisp, selectable text), a PowerPoint
.pptx(rendered with its animations kept), or a self-contained HTML/zip bundle (Gamma, Pitch, Framer, reveal.js, or any web export). HoldFast hosts and serves it full-bleed with per-slide analytics. - Embed a live link: paste a Google Slides, Figma, Canva, Gamma, or Prezi share link and HoldFast wraps your live deck in your gate and branding (see Embed Google Slides, Figma, or Canva).
Every format lands full-bleed; more on the formats in Upload a PDF, PowerPoint, or web deck.
3. Brand it and preview
Preview the live deck, then open or share the /d/ link.
Apply your brand kit and any gate you need, then use the live preview on the deck's detail page to see exactly what a viewer will get, before you publish or unlock it. When it's right, grab the Open Presentation ↗ link.
4. Share, then watch the slides
Per-slide dwell time tells you which slides actually got read.
Send the /d/… link. As people read it, per-slide dwell time, scroll depth, completion, and CTA clicks roll into Insights, so you can see the deck stalled on slide 4, or that the pricing slide got read twice. To lock it down and go deeper on tracking, see Protect a deck & track engagement; to put names to the reads, see How to see who watched your video.
