Sort, filter, and switch view modes

Grid for browsing thumbnails, list for scanning a hundred filenames, and sort plus type filters for everything in between.

Updated

A project view has three controls that decide how you look at what is in it. Small page, three controls, no surprises.

Grid or list

Grid shows thumbnail cards: right for browsing footage, checking covers, and dragging files onto tiles. List is a compact table: right for long deliveries, exact filenames, and anything you would rather scan than scroll.

Sort

Sort by name, date, type, or size, from the sort dropdown in either view, or by clicking column headers in list view. Clicking a header again flips the direction.

Filter by type

One filter: All, Video, Image, Audio, or Document. It applies inside your current folder, so "every audio file in this shoot day" is two clicks.

These controls work within one project. To cut across every project at once, use the Asset View or search.

Questions

Which view should I use for a big delivery?

List view. It is a compact table, sortable by clicking column headers, and scans a hundred filenames far faster than thumbnails can.
