Set up your workspace in ten minutes
Four jobs, ten minutes, and every link you ever send afterward comes out branded, staffed, and honestly measured.
Everything here works out of the box, but ten minutes of setup means every link you send afterward comes out branded, staffed, and honestly measured. Four jobs, in order.
1. Name the workspace (1 minute)
Settings → General. The name appears on invites and public pages, so make it the name your clients know.
2. Build the brand kit (4 minutes)
Colors, two typefaces, your logo in its three forms. Set it as the default and every review link, reel, and presentation you ever create wears it automatically, along with the notification emails. The full tour is Set up your brand kit; the ten-minute version is: pick the five colors, upload the logos, save.
3. Invite the team, with the right roles (3 minutes)
Settings → Team, one invite per person, each with a role: member for people doing the work, viewer for people who should watch without touching, sales for outreach folks who must never wander into an unreleased cut. Clients are not invited at all; they get links, which cost nothing and need no seat.
4. Mark your own domain internal (1 minute)
The step everyone skips and regrets: exclude your team from analytics so week one's numbers describe your clients instead of your own QC passes. One click covers every teammate, current and future.
Done. The natural next steps are your first upload and your first review link, and if Vimeo has a decade of your work, the backup can run while you work.
