Personalized links for sales outreach

One link per prospect: every view attributed by name, no email gate, straight into engagement scoring.

Updated

Send a reel to a hundred prospects and the view count tells you nothing about which of them leaned in. A personalized link fixes that: one unique URL per contact, so every view through it is attributed to that person by name, with no email gate in the way. It's the cleanest path from an outreach email into engagement scoring.

Personalized links live inside a published reel:

  1. Open the reel in the editor.
  2. Scroll to Personalized Links in the sidebar.
  3. Click + New and enter the contact's name and email.
  4. Click Create & Copy Link: a unique URL lands on your clipboard, ready to paste into your outreach.

Make one for each prospect. The link looks and plays like any reel; the difference is invisible to the viewer and load-bearing for you.

No gate, no friction

An email gate works, but it asks the viewer to stop and type before they watch, and some won't. A personalized link asks nothing: the prospect clicks, the reel plays, and the attribution happens quietly behind the scenes. For warm outreach where you already know who you're emailing, it's the higher-converting choice.

Every view lands under a name

When your contact opens their link, HoldFast doesn't have to guess who they are. Every play, every clip they finish, every return visit is attributed to that contact automatically. This is one of the honest ways HoldFast puts a name to a viewer: an email gate, a CRM match, or a personalized link like this one. Anonymous traffic still resolves to a company where the signal is strong, but a personalized link is how you get all the way to the person.

That attribution feeds straight into engagement scoring. Instead of a raw view count, you get a ranked read on who is actually engaged: who watched the whole thing, who came back a second time, who opened it and bounced. Find each contact and their score in Insights → Contacts.

Read the signal, then act

The point of a per-person link is the follow-up it earns you. A prospect who watched your reel twice this week is a different call than one who never opened it. See how to read those signals in How to see who watched your video, and what the number actually means in Engagement scoring explained.
